Don't you NEED these shoes? They are hand made from etsy seller spirocreations. The only reason I haven't bought them is because they are $225. Very expensive, but they would be my favorite shoes...

Mary Blair

I was reading A Beautiful Mess earlier and she posted some images from Mary Blair. Aha! Her illustrations were so recognizable to me but I never knew her name. She has a beautiful children's style, formed from her career with Disney.

She was a pioneer in creative color styling (it's hard to imagine a time like this!) and a trailblazer for women in the male-dominated art world. Mary did lots of work outside of Disney, some of which is lesser known, but is all amazing.
